Earlier this morning I had a vision after seeking the LORD and receiving His word.
I had a brief glance of Simpson characters who resembled the likes of Homer and Bart Simpson.
Now there are two ways one can consider the vision.
1.) Idolatry of the heart
“Son of man, these men have set up idols in their hearts and put wicked stumbling blocks before their faces. Should I consult with them in any way? Ez 14:3 BSB
2) A message from Christ
Long ago, at many times and in many ways, God spoke to our fathers by the prophets, but in these last days he has spoken to us by his Son, whom he appointed the heir of all things, through whom also he created the world. Heb 1:1-2 ESV
I did a quick etymology of the last name to discover this:
Simpson means son of Sim(me) which can be traced to Middle English and Hebrew names Simon or Simeon.
Simeon was Leah’s second son, the first wife of Jacob who was loved less. Now Simeon name means ‘heard’ or ‘God has heard’.
And perhaps there are some of us who feel like they have been forgotten; your dreams have taken a back seat and you are finding yourself in not so ideal situations. What you long for looks more and more like it is impossible to have and that there are those around you who are having a grand o’ time. Let this word be a plausible sign to you:
You have been wearied in believing, I will now come to you. Those who have felt unloved and abandoned I will cherish you and carry you under my wings. You shall no longer toil in infertile ground, for I will give you blessings according to My Joy and Pleasure. Years will feel like days to you, and your youthfulness shall be restored. For I alone am the Lord God who removes damnation, let those who believe in Me flow with my breath.
This is the word of the Lord.
